South Philadelphia mother of 3 gifted used car

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia mother, who has been juggling the medical needs of her three children, was gifted a used car on Wednesday.

Stephanie Middleton has been running on fumes trying to get them to appointments, as two of her three children have disabilities that require her to provide round-the-clock care.

But now, with the help of the community, the refurbished ride is rerouting her family's daily struggle.

Lacking a reliable vehicle for years, this gift alleviates the stress for Middleton of getting her children to crucial appointments and fulfilling household duties.

Middleton and her son, Zach, got to inspect their new refurbished ride -- a 2024 Honda HR-V Sport -- at Faulkner Collision Center in South Philadelphia.

The life-changing gift is from AllState and NABC Recycled Rides program.
